Recently Completed Projects

SHIPLAKE, OXON (Tenor 9-0-15 in G#)

A new ring of eight bells has been cast and these have been hung in a new cast iron frame with new fittings.

HURSTBOURNE PRIORS, HANTS

A galvanised steel roof access ladder has been installed in the tower, complete with safety hoops, above the bells.  This ring of bells was rehung and augmented by our Company in 1999.

 
PILLATON, CORNWALL (Tenor 10-1-27 in F#)

Two trebles have been cast to augment the ring to eight.  The existing six bells have been re-tuned and rehung on new fittings.

CRANTOCK, CORNWALL (Tenor 9-1-14 in G)

The bells have received a major overhaul including new bell support bolts, re-rimming the existing wheels, rebushing and annealing the clappers, new pulley units, new sliders and runnerboards and new ball races and seals in the main bearings.
 

SPEKE, LIVERPOOL

A bell was removed from the church of St. Aidan, soon to be demolished, on behalf of the Keltek Trust.

HOLYBOURNE, HANTS (Tenor 6-3-16 in B)

A new ring of eight bells has been installed. The existing three bells have been hung dead as clock bells.

 
CHESTERTON, WARKS

The three derelict bells have been rehung for swing-chiming with new fittings in the existing frame.

FRIAR PARK, HENLEY ON THAMES, OXON.

A single bell, which appears to be a Continental casting, has been rehung for swing-chiming with replica fittings.
   

BENSON, OXON (Tenor 14-1-22 in F#)

The ring of eight has been rehung in a new cast iron frame with new fittings.

The RAF load the bells for transporting to Appleton.  


OLNEY, BUCKS. (Tenor 24-3-14 in D)

The ring of eight has been re-tuned to great effect and augmented to ten with new fittings in a new cast-iron ten-bell frame.

Current Projects

BUCKLAND, OXON (Tenor 17 cwt. approx)

The eight bells are being re-tuned and rehung with new fittings in the existing double-bar wrought iron bell frame.

GREAT BRICKHILL, BUCKS (Tenor 14 cwt approx. in F)

The six bells have been re-tuned and are being rehung with new fittings in a new cast iron bell frame, the treble also being weld-repaired.  Two new bells are to be added to augment the ring to eight. 
 

AVENING PRIMARY SCHOOL, AVENING, GLOS.

The single C19th turret bell is being rehung for swing-chiming with traditional fittings.
 

GREAT STAUGHTON, CAMBS

The C13th Sanctus bell is being rehung for stationary chiming in the bellcote above the chancel, complete with hardwood headstock and trigger-action clapper.
 

PEASEMORE, BERKS (Tenor 8-0-11 in A)

The ring of six bells has been re-tuned and are being rehung with mostly new fittings in the existing bell frame.


DOWDESWELL, GLOS.

The three bells have been hand-drilled in the tower to remove their cast-in crown staples.  They are being rehung for stationary chiming with trigger-action clappers.
