APSLEY END, HERTS (Tenor 13-0-25 in F)

The bells have been re-tuned and rehung on new fittings in the existing bell frame.

 
HARWICH, ESSEX (Tenor 13-2-22 in G)

The tenor, 7th, 4th and 3rd bells had their cast-in crown staples drilled out by hand in the tower. They were then rehung on canon-retaining headstocks.


RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH OF ST. NICHOLAS THE WONDERWORKER, MARSTON, OXFORD

Four bells, cast in Russia, have been hung for stationary chiming with internal trigger-action hammers.

BLACKFRIARS PRIORY, OXFORD

A bell (approx 7 cwt.) from Corpus Christi College, Oxford, has been hung for electric slow-swinging in a new galvanised steel bell frame.  An electro-magnetic hammer has also been fitted.  Both this and the linear motor are controlled by a programable timer unit.

INVERNESS CATHEDRAL, SCOTLAND (Tenor 16-3-12 in Eb)

The poor-toned 9th bell has been recast and hung on the existing fittings.

 

HIGH WYCOMBE, BUCKS (Tenor 26-3-15 in D)

A new ring of fourteen bells (a diatonic twelve with two semi-tone bells to provide a lighter ring of ten) has been cast to Gillett & Johnston profiles and hung with new fittings in a new cast iron bell frame fixed to a concrete ring beam.

The new bells for High Wycombe in our Works.

 

 KILBURN (ST. MARY), LONDON (Tenor 9-3-22 in G)

The three existing bells have been rehung in a new galvanised steel frame and augmented to six with bells from the former rings at Prittlewell and High Wycombe.

UNIVERSITY CHURCH OF ST. MARY THE VIRGIN, OXFORD (Tenor 26-2-9 in D)

This heavy ring of six has been rehung on new fittings in the existing bell frame.

GREAT SHEFFORD, BERKS (Tenor 7-0-7 in Ab)

The upper cills of the frame have been disconnected from the walls of the tower and the foundation strengthened.  The bells have been re-tuned and rehung on new fittings.

 

WYCK RISSINGTON, GLOS (Tenor 6-0-19 in B)

The four bells have been re-tuned and rehung on new fittings in the existing stregthened frame.  Two galvanised steel beams have been installed under the frame to strengthen the frame foundation.

 

WIMBORNE MINSTER, DORSET (Tenor 29-2-20 in D)

Three bells have been added to augment the ring to twelve with a sharp 2nd to provide a light octave.  The existing frame has been extended with new cast iron framesides.  The new bells were cast to 1911 Gillett and Johnston profiles.

GARSINGTON, OXON (Tenor 9 cwt. approx.)

The six bells are to be re-tuned and rehung on new fittings in the existing strengthened bell frame.
 

FLITWICK, BEDS (Tenor 10 cwt. approx.)

The six bells are to be re-tuned and rehung on new fittings in the existing bell frame, the tenor also being specialist weld-repaired in the crown.
 
 
FELMERSHAM, BEDS (Tenor 20-2-18 in Eb)

The bearing units have been cleaned, overhauled and re-greased.  The clappers have been repaired and rebushed and the pulley units replaced.
    

MANORBIER,  PEMBS
(Tenor 6 cwt. approx.)

The cast-in crown staples of the treble and 2nd have been drilled out by hand in the tower.  All three bells are being hung "dead" in the existing strengthened frame with electro-magnetic hammers for automatic electronic chiming.


CHEDDINGTON, BUCKS (Tenor 11-3-0 in F)

The headstocks are being fitted with new gudgeons and ball bearing units and the other fittings overhauled.  The remaining cast-in crown staples have been removed by hand-drilling in the tower.
 

SEAL CHART, KENT
The existing 5th and tenor bells have been removed from the ring and two trebles are to be cast so that the ring of six is reduced in both size and weight.  The existing bells will be re-tuned and all six will be hung on new fittings in the existing two-tier bell frame.
 

BARNWOOD, GLOUCESTER

The Rudhall bells are to be specialist weld-repaired, building up clapper indentations and filling existing support bolt holes.  All remaining plain bearings are to be replaced with new ball bearing units and the installation overhauled.
 

HITCHIN, HERTS (Tenor 17-0-16 in E)

The existing tenor and 7th bells are to be removed from the ring of ten and five trebles cast to form a ring of twelve with a sharp 2nd.  The thirteen bells will be hung in a new cast iron bell frame.
